Mayor’s comment on Ms. Okawachi and Ms.Kinoshita (Sasebo Tosho High School), who won the victory at the National Climbing Championship 2015

I would like to congratulate Ms. Serika Okawachi and Ms. Akane Kinoshita, students at Sasebo Tosho High School on their victory at the 6th National High School Climbing Championship (Women’s Lead). It is the first time for the teams from Nagasaki Prefecture.

　They accomplished a great achievement following the victory at Bouldering (Female Junior), Mountaineering Competitions in the 70th National Athletic Meet.

　I think this resulted from sustained efforts of each player under the direction of the team manager and the coach.

　In addition, this exploit is the pride of not only the sports community in Sasebo but also the whole residents in the city, and it contributed to promote “Sasebo” across the nation.

　Once again, on behalf of the whole residents in Sasebo, I would like to congratulate the players, the team manager, the coach and the school officials, and like to extend best wishes for the further success of the members.
