Miss Yamato Fujita, Congratulation on your acquisition of a gold medal at Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games softball match.

I'm truly delighted that you won admirably dealing with the United States which is the biggest rival to Japan in the final game and had a garland of a gold medal in your hand.

I was much impressed with the form that Fujita player had contributed to a victory of a team strenuously as a two-way player in throwing and batting through the meet.

 

The form that Fujita player plays an active part at a big stage as the Olympic Games gave energy to the whole sporting world of this city as well as softball, and brought a big impression to the citizens.

Fujita player is an attractive heroine and is a big target for the boys and girls playing softball in this city.

 

For a great achievement of Fujita player, on behalf of the Sasebo citizens, I wish to express our sincere celebration and expect for your further achievement from now on.
