Mayor’s comment about budget formation on Nishi-Kyushu-expressway Matsuura Saza Road and start of the plan stage evaluation of National Highway No.205 (Higashi-Sonogi Road).

There was an announcement about budget allocation on the first in Reiwa fiscal year 2 from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport today.

 

It's distribution at 8,000,000,000 yen about over the business related to this city and Nishi-Kyushu-expressway Matsuura Saza Road.

The initial budget of 4,000,000,000 yen was paid in Heisei 30th year, and the initial budget of 6,000,000,000 yen was paid in Reiwa 2^nd year.

I am very much pleased to see the steady progress in the construction and maintenance of this Road supported with steady increase of the budget.

 

Nishi Kyushu-expressway is the road where I suggest cooperation reinforcement between the metropolis in Kyushu northwest district and uniting and contribute to development of regional economy and activation, and the business progress which will be increasingly from now on and maximum manifestation of the effect by the early full opening are expected.

 

Higasgi-Sonogi Road of National Highway No.205 was designated as the "candidate line" of the regional high standard road in 1994, but it was the situation that 26 years have passed while having no big movements after that. However, by this announcement of "start of plan stage evaluation", I am very much pleased to note that this is the big one first step which becomes support of IR invitation as well as a linear problem solution.

 

Once more, I would like to express my sincere thanks for the related congressmen such as Mr. Genjiro Kaneko, Budget Chairperson , the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Nagasaki-prefecture, Sasebo-city assembly and related everybody in the area. Your further continued support for the maintenance promotion shall be much appreciated.

 

Cooperating with related everybody such as Nagasaki-prefecture, I will do my best to work on a local adjustment aggressively in order to complete Matsuura Saza Road at the earliest and commercialize Higashi-Sonogi Road at the earliest as a local government from now on.
