Mayor’s comment about a merger of The Eighteenth Bank, Ltd. and The Shinwa Bank, Ltd.

The Shinwa Bank, Ltd. and The Eighteenth Bank, Ltd. were merged today, and a new bank as "The Juhachi-Shinwa Bank, Ltd." was born.

 

This merger can show a synergy effect using a scale merit of Fukuoka Financial Group as well as attracting nationwide as its leading model which indicates the future's state of the local bank.

 

Under a brand slogan of the new bank, “Your Best”, I sincerely hope that new bank shall catch a growth possibility of the area as well as being a foundation that the regional economy is supported minutely and become the close and reliable existence which can be the increasingly big power and respond to the expectation of the citizens and the inhabitants of a prefecture from now on as motive power of the area activation and economic development.
