Mayor’s comment about a conclusion of a location agreement of New Japan Radio Co., Ltd..

I am very much pleased to report to you that Messrs. New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. decided to operate their Technical Center in Sasebo-City, for which I am very much pleased and are much grateful for their decision since we are concentrating on our efforts for securement of various employment opportunity and creation of high-quality working facilities.

 

I feel that I am much pleased to report to the citizens that this location agreement with New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. shall be a convalescent sign of this city economy which underwent the big influence by coronavirus (COVID-19) infection expansion.

 

New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. has been, for more than half a century, producing the electronic component for a semiconductor integrated circuit, and also is an enterprise where big growth is expected from now on for realization of the smart society which utilized IoT and AI.

 

I have understood that “Nagasaki Technical Center” shall be arranged in Miura-cho this time and that they are planning to employ 23 people in 5 years from now on as the base of a design with production and development work of software of an electronic component.

Since it is said that this company will employ new graduates of the Technical College aggressively in particular, I sincerely hope that they will contribute much to this city where we are working on young people's outflow restraint.

 

We, as Sasebo City, intend to support New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. for their recruit activity and various preparations for business starting together with Nagasaki-Prefecture and the Foundation for the Promotion of Nagasaki Industry.
