CFAS (Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo) Decorative Manhole Cover has been Installed

CFAS decorative manhole cover has recently been installed in the shopping arcade in front of Shimanose Park.

You can now see this special manhole cover identical to those actually installed on the U.S. Navy Base in Sasebo.

Please come and see this manhole cover unique to "Military Town" Sasebo where American culture blends naturally into everyday life!

The design is the same as the emblem of the CFAS. It's a familiar design that incorporates Japanese elements in an American style.
