National Important Property Oil Depot

 

As shown in Map ①, the oil depot was located farther east of the current location when Hario Transmission Station was built in 1921. This facility was built as a storage area for petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, etc. Therefore, it was constructed with reinforced concrete so as to make it explosion-proof, and has fewer openings.

The walls of the building were built with ashlar, and the appearance design of the wall is similar to that of the transmission station. The size of the foundation of the building is 4.6 meter (width) x 4.7 meter (depth) x 4.6 meter (height). This is the only existing building in this facility, since many

building were demolished after the World War II.
